Blue Olive Restaurant in Dieppe

Great restaurant! Their major downsides include the fact that they close pretty early (9PM) and that they are often missing items on the menu. It's a "Bring your own wine" restaurant, however they charge 5$.. My favorite is the Beef Shawarma!! Great for take out

We ordered kefta but they had none and after getting 1 coke and wanting another they had run out. To me it seems weird when they run out of their specialty item. It's like KFC running out of chicken. The rest of the food was fantastic and it always is

Service is NOT the best... the waitresses seems to forget to come and check on their customer.. and their tiny glasses of water empties quite fast so I sometimes just get up and grab a glass of water from behind the counter myself. BUT if you are not stressed and not in a hurry THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!! wow.. Love it! I take it for takeout sometimes makes it easier!!!LOVE IT!

I came here for my friend's birthday, and I just have to say how much I love this place. The atmosphere and service. I was served by the most charming and handsome man name Richard, he was an absolute doll. He was so busy but still made time for me and we had such a lovely chat. 10/10 would recommend he knew the exact rose to pair wit my fries

Great food and service. Lamb is my favorite whether it's the kabobs, the burger or the chops. Not my 1st time and certainly not the last time.

Excellent service from Blue Olive. Went out of the way to help us starving for food and gave good helping hand. Best service in have ever seen in my life.Being a traveler he understood how we were hungry at the last moment of the closer of the restaurant. Allah will surely bless them with rewards. I. Came here with the family and were pleased with the food and service we received. Portions were generous. Great decor.

It was average but probably the only halal food in Moncton. We went at 8pm and it says closing at 9. They wanted us to hurry and order so they can close the kitchen. Another couple came at 8 15 and they refused them. I noticed the person cooking was tasting the customers food which was super weird. Chicken shawarma plate was decent but I wouldn't go back.

The Blue Olive is a small, yet well located restaurant. In the heart of downtown Dieppe, this tiny restaurant serves mediterranean food, at a very fair price. The one thing that kills it is the service. The service is usually very slow, and i once waited for over 45 minutes for chicken wings as well as a plate of fries. And, the only excuse they had was this " We gave food to the kids as they were hungry". Well, i was hungry too. But other than that, a great restaurant.

The only halal restaurant in the city,but well worth the effort to visit the falafel burger is the best I've tasted. The staff are friendly and efficient, will definitely visit again. 🌻

This is a great spot. Food quality and portions are great and very tasty. The chicken Chawarma is delicious. Lamb and all kebabs are really good as well. Bringing your own wine is also a big money saver. Service could be a bit more consistent in terms of speed and accuracy but they try hard. The Moroccan beet salad is a must try.

Not the most consistent. When it's good it's great,but have had many meals with cold, old tasting food, and follow up customer service is not great. Keeping the customer happy isnt always a priority.

A true authentic arab food to enjoy in moncton.

The service was gracious and swift. The restaurant was very clean and tastefully decorated. If you're looking for Mediterranean food in New Brunswick, I think the Blue Olive is hard to beat. All the food was well seasoned, cooked and made with fresh ingredients. The meal was very filling but felt relaxing and healthy. On a separate note altogether: the water glasses were refilled consistently, without ice but at a slightly chilled temperature. The water tasted so pure and refreshing, I don't think any other beverage could have paired better with the meal. I'd suggest other restaurants learn from the Blue Olive and step up their water quality.

Good service. Pleasant staff. Free parking. The lamb meat was not really fresh, but over all good. Reasonably priced.

All the salads were flavorful, the chicken was tender. I fell in love with the falafel. The sauces complemented the food really well.The server was busy, but made it a point to ask were we're from and welcome us.The decoration was beautiful!Ambiance has a little missing... feels a little to "cafeteria". The noise is not "well" blended.The price fitted.A MUST to discover mediteraneen flavors!

I received a Blue Olive gift card for Christmas. After trying to order takeout four separate times, I was finally successful at the Moncton location. When I arrived, I found out that despite being one of only two Blue Olive restaurants, they do not accept gift cards at that location. That brings me to my fifth experience with Blue Olive. I recently called Blue Olive Dieppe to place a takeout order and I made sure to ask if they accepted gift cards. The person who answered the phone was not sure so I was placed on hold. I was then informed that I could not use my gift card to pay for my takeout that night. They told me that I should check back the next day. I did not check back the next day. I did not have the time to check back and I do not have time to put up with this nonsense. I am fed up. This is a gift card that was paid for with real money and I cannot use it.

Nice environment! We ordered beef shawarma and beef was too salty. Kefta kaboob was just ok. Not a great experience!

Now I've not been there, BUT, looking at their menu I don't think I'll be going they ANY TIME SOON....They can't make up their minds what to serve... Can't make out what kind of restaurant it is...

Very nice choices even for vegetarians. Good prices and generous portions. I highly recommend trying the Lebanese potatoes. Lovely.

Excellent food there

It is not consistent in terms of service and food quality. I always stop by to have lunch at Blue Olive whenever I’m in Moncton. They used to have very delicious and fresh food. This time I took my co workers to try it out as we were on a business trip to the city and I was disappointed with the quality of the food. I had a beef kabab it was not cooked well in addition to to that my choices of salads were mixed with my co worker. The hummus dipping was not good at all as well as the pita bread was not fresh. I used to recommend this restaurant but now I would say try at your own risk!

Little disappointed about the order I placed yesterday, beef shawarma tasted like it was taken directly out of a refrigerator tasted cold. Same for my other combo also. I have been to this place couple times and my experience has been good until yesterday. I hope this will not happen again I like their food and wouldn't mind trying it again.

This has become one of our favorite places to eat in Moncton. The food is really great! We get the Chicken Shawarma and Falafel and split the plates!

We really enjoy the food but the service is consistently slow time after time. Waited about 15 minutes to have our order taken and another 45 to get out food. Despite the long wait times, the servers are always friendly and we have never found this to be an issue. The food is always amazing! Generous servings and the price is right. If the speed of service could match the friendly atmosphere and delicious food, the potential in this place is unbelievable.
